New Covid-19 cases fell below 50, although hospitalizations posted a sharp increase, according to the Wednesday report from the Delaware Division of Public Health.
The numbers
- No new deaths, keeping Delaware’s total number of Covid-related deaths at 1,660.
- 49 new positive cases, bringing the overall total to 108,532.
- 11.5% of people tested positive in the seven-day rolling average, down six-tenths of a percent from the previous day.
- 2.9% of total tests were positive in the seven-day rolling average, down two-tenths of a percent from the previous day.
- 67 current hospitalizations up 16 from the previous day), including 10 individuals in critical condition. Hospitalizations have ranged from 474 to a low of 30.
- 22 new hospital admissions, down 3 from the previous day.
- 889,500 total vaccine doses administered (up 4,967 from the previous day).
