President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden returned to the White House on Sunday night after spending the weekend at their home near Greenville.
The Bidens have been making regular visits to their home in the Greenville area west of Wilmington since he took office. The only event listed on the weekend schedule was attending Sunday church services.
Prior to leaving Delaware Biden ordered aid for India, which is suffering from a surge in coronavirus cases that has led to a shortage of oxygen and other medical supplies.
Just as India sent assistance to the United States as our hospitals were strained early in the pandemic, we are determined to help India in its time of need. https://t.co/SzWRj0eP3y

The Bidens have of late been using the Marine One helicopter on their flights and did the same over the weekend.
The motorcade carrying the Bidens leads to brief traffic delays on the route from the airport, along with scattered complaints from motorists, many of whom are not fans of Biden in the first place.
The Facebook Page for the breaking crime-traffic accident news website First State Update features a popular “Joe Jam” update that tracks the First Couple’s travels from the airport.
The visits typically feature no public events in Delaware.
The visit comes after Biden held a virtual climate summit with world leaders and announced plans to cut climate pollution in half.
