A well-traveled road in the Prices Corner area west of Wilmington and Elsmere is closed due to a train derailment.
Delaware State Police reported the derailment occurred at 6:45 a.m., Tuesday near Centerville and Boxwood roads near the CSX yards. No injuries were reported.
Centerville Road is closed between Boxwood Road and Century Blvd. Limited access is available for local traffic.
The roadways are expected to be closed for an extended period of time while the train cars are removed and repairs are completed.
