As of Friday   Delaware reported  nearly 170,000 vaccinations  for Covid-19.

Figures from the Delaware Vaccination Tracker showed no  new shipments of vaccine doses this week,  more than likely due to bad weather around the country.

There have been reports of Walgreens pharmacies postponing or canceling  vaccinations, according to a WDEL story.

The state tracker does not list second doses that have been administered.

However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention vaccination date tracker  Thursday   listed about 37,500 people receiving both doses in the First State.

The state tracker lists fewer doses of vaccine than the number available, due to factors such as Pfizer containers having more doses  than originally listed.

Figures on vaccinations can lag by days. The vaccine is also being delivered to multiple locations, including pharmacies, making tracking doses more difficult.

The state has been focusing on second doses as it struggles with tight  supplies that limit mass vaccinations

According to an NPR tracker, Delaware has slipped to 17th place among the 50 states and the District of Columbia after being in the top 10 for a time.

Delaware is slightly behind the national average for  the percentage of the population with second doses and slightly above the national average in the percentage of the population getting at least one dose.

The state is making headway but still faces a long waiting list in vaccinating the Phase 1B category, which includes about 200,00  over 65 and some essential workers.

he Biden Administration says more doses are going to states. Delaware did receive an increase last week but still gets fewer than 25,000 doses during seven-day periods.
