Verizon reported that a fiber cable-optic cut has led to service disruptions along East Coast areas that include Delaware.
Verizon confirmed the cable cut via cut via Twitter, with reports indicating the accident took place in Brooklyn, NY.
The cut appeared to affect the company’s FioS Internet which serves both businesses and consumers.
The speed of Internet connections improved later in the afternoon.
