The Delaware Department of Transportation announced that the installation of concrete barriers and striping will require the overnight closure of I-95 southbound through Wilmington during  mid-February.

The work is in advance of the Restore the Corridor program, which will last two years and cost and estimated $200 million. The project will rehab a section of I-95 through the city. The section includes many  viaducts in need of repair that are nearly 60-years in age.

Motorists can  take alternate routes I-495 or US 13 to their destination.
