The Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH), and the Delaware Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) listed nearly four dozen communitytestingsitesthroughout Delaware next week.

Testinglocations listed below include pop-up and Curative trailersites, as well as communitysiteshosted by New Castle County and Henrietta Johnson Medical Center. Registration is recommended and in the case of Walgreens stores required.

Lines of vehicles have been long at some sites, including the Middletown High School location earlier this week.

Testing is being ramped up after an expected uptick in cases following holiday get-togethers. Cases of Covid-19 have been increasing throughout the state, with no area seeing sharply lower rates than another.

DEMA has coordinated communitysitesthis week in addition to a growing number of sitesat Walgreens and at various hospitals and health care locations. Rite Aid has also expanded the number of stores that offer testing under a separate federal program. Delawareans can view a full list of COVID-19testinglocations atde.gov/gettested.

Testing has been stepped up on Saturdays to accommodate those who cannot use sites during the workweek.

Delawareans are asked to check the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services’ social media accounts(Facebook,Twitter, andInstagram)fortestinglocation updates due to inclement weather that can include high winds.
