One person is dead after an apparent homicide that occurred early Saturday morning outside a business that was holding a music event.
Delaware State Police were called to the 31000 block of Country Gardens at 12:34 a.m. for a reported shooting in the parking lot. Upon arrival, troopers learned that a male was shot in the upper torso and brought to an area hospital.
The 33-year-old victim from Millsboro was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
A preliminary investigation determined a building within the business complex hosted a music event with many spectators.
At this time, there is no information on a possible suspect.
