Next week’s list of community testing sites has been announced.
Testing locations listed below include pop-up and Curative trailer sites and community sites hosted by the Henrietta Johnson Medical Center.
The Delaware Emergency Management Agency has coordinated community sites this week in addition to sites at Walgreens and at various hospitals and health care locations. Delawareans can view a full list of COVID-19 testing locations and reserve a spot at de.gov/gettested.
As the number of cases spikes with a one-day record set on Thursday, the Delaware Department of Transportation is advising motorists traveling in the vicinity of testing sites to be aware of heavy traffic and be mindful of businesses and homeowners needing access to their properties.
Issues arising from vehicles’ long lines at locations are near-collisions occurring from unsafe vehicle movements and access to neighboring properties being blocked.
DelDOT is providing traffic control assistance as needed and is also utilizing mobile message boards.
