New Castle County releases revised Covid-19 test schedule as holiday approaches


New Castle County announced a revised New Castle County Covid-19 pop-up testing site schedule.

The testing sites are free and available to anyone regardless of symptoms. Tests are self-administered saliva-based while maintaining social distancing. Families and all ages are welcome.

blankTesting sites have seen busy during the past week as the holidays approach and the number of cases has moved from 100 to as high as 600 during the past week.

On Sunday traffic was backed up in the right lane of the highway as motorists awaited Covid-19 tests at a Walgreens in Middletown. The pharmacy offers testing seven days a week. (See photo avove).

The spike in positive cases has taken place throughout the state, including New Castle County.
