Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan ordered restaurants and bars to close at 10 a.m. to slow down the virus’s spread.

Cecil and other counties will now wait to see if the spread intensifies due to Thanksgiving celebrations. Smaller get-togethers from people living outside the household have been cited as major factors in the recent surge in cases.
