Albano named to Fed advisory council

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia today announced the appointments ofElizabeth D. Albano, CEO of Artisans’ Bank, Wilmington andJon P. Conklin, president and CEO of Woodlands Bank, to itsCommunity Depository Institutions Advisory Council. Albano and Conklin will begin their three-year terms in October 2020.

As president and CEO of Artisans’ Bank, Albano brings more than 30 years of experience in multiple disciplines, including audit, finance, strategic planning, and management. She serves on the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh’s member advisory board and the president’s advisory council of Mount Saint Mary’s University. Albano has a bachelor’s degree in business and finance from Mount Saint Mary’s University.

Conklin is CEO of Woodlands Bank, Wllliamsport, PA, where he previously served as vice president and chief financial officer.

Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore welcomed Rotary District Governor, Stephen Capelli, of Salisbury, MD to its Board of Directors.

Capelli is District Governor for Rotary District 7630, which includes the areas served by Easterseals.

Cancer Support Community Delaware announces staff, board chair

After fulfilling a two-year term as Board Chair on the Cancer Support Community Delaware (CSCDE) Board of Directors, Barbra Andrisani, handed over the role of Board Chair to Donald Fulton.

CSCDE also announced the addition of Michele Camponelli as Development Manager andJovoni Simmons as the Manager of Outreach and Marketing.

Roller Skating Association International names local rink owner as president

The Roller Skating Association International (RSA) announced that Cort Wahlig, owner of Christiana and Dover Skating Centers, was elected by the RSA members for a two-year term as its new president. Wahlig served as the Association’s vice president from 2016-2020.

He is a graduate of Salisbury State University in Maryland.

CORFAC honors Patterson-Woods’ Latina

CORFAC International announced a local winner in its 2020 Standards of Excellence Awards, which recognize individuals who exemplify excellence, integrity, dedication and participation in the CORFAC network.

Winning the Charlie King MVP Award was Joe Latina of Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties/CORFAC International, Wilmington.

The award is bestowed to a member selected by CORFAC’s President to be the “most valuable player” over the past 12 months. The award was created in honor of CORFAC co-founder Charlie King Jr., for his service to the organization.

CORFAC is a national association made up of commercial real estate companies.
