Delaware’s rate of positive cases to tests for coronavirus fell to 4.4 percent, based on a rolling average of cases, the Delaware Division of Public Health reported.
One additional death was reported. Separately, the Delaware Department of Correction reported an elderly inmate serving life terms had died from complications from Covid-19. The Delaware Division of Heath does not identify deaths by name or location.
The 4.4 figure had risen as high as 4.7 percent in previous days.
A figure below five percent shows a moderate spread of Covid-19. State officials would like to see that figure move into the three percent range.
