Gas prices held steady in Delaware over the July Fourth weekend, AAA Mid-Atlantic reported on Monday.

Southern New Jersey still has lower gasoline prices than Delaware (2 cents)  despite a gas tax that is 18 cents higher than the First State figure.

As has been the case throughout the year warehouse clubs BJ’s and Costco have posted the cheapest gas prices in northern Delaware. A $2.16 a gallon gas price is common with the Royal Farms and Wawa stores, which have a large chunk of the fill-up market in Delaware.

Monday gas prices

  • Pennsylvania gas average at $2.43 today, unchanged overnight and unchanged in the last week.
