Sally Schufreider

Cigna names vice president

Sally Schufreider has been named vice president of sales at Cigna for its Liberty Valley team. She will lead both new business and existing business responsibilities for Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Schufreider joins Cigna from AmeriHealth Administrators where she was responsible for leading a large team of sales, client management and client service representatives focused on self-funded national TPA business. Prior to AmeriHealth, she spent over 12 years at Independence Blue Cross in various national accounts sales and account management leadership roles.   

Levin

Beebe Medical Foundation adds Levin to  board

Beebe Medical Foundation’s Board Chair Christian Hudson announced that Alan Levin has joined the foundation board and will serve as a Director.

Levin is currently the senior advisor for SoDel Concepts, which comes after nearly seven years as Director of the Delaware Economic Development Office on former Gov. Jack Markell’s cabinet.

Before joining Gov. Markell, Levin served as President and CEO of Happy Harry’s, the 10th largest drugstore chain in the United States, before its merger with the Walgreen Company in July 2006. During his tenure, he grew the company from 16 to 76 stores and to 2,700 employees.

Community Foundation welcomes board members

The Delaware Community Foundation (DCF) welcomed Chanta Howard-Wilkinson, Nick Lambrow and Louisa Phillips to its Board of Directors.

The DCF also thanked outgoing board chair, Kelly Firment, along with departing board members Lynn Kokjohn and Jim Mazarakis. The 2020-2022 officers are Bill Dugdale as board chair, Drew Fennell as vice chair, David Singleton as treasurer and Cindy Szabo as secretary. 

Lambrow

Howard-Wilkinson is a human resources consultant with Vantige, Inc., where she helps clients strategically integrate effective human resources processes, programs, and practices in their daily operations. Previously she was the Associate Director of Equal Employment Opportunity at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn and she was a Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General. hill

Howard-Wilkinson holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Rutgers University School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers College, and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Villanova University. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the District of Columbia, and completed the Superior Court of the State of Delaware Mediation Training in Conflict Resolution. 

Lambrow was named Regional President for M&T Bank Delaware in 2011. Prior to that appointment, he served for eight years as the Regional President for the Chesapeake and Central Maryland Division, which included the Eastern Shore, and parts of Central, Southern, and Western Maryland.

Phillips

In his current role, Lambrow has direct responsibility for the commercial efforts and market outreach within the region, as well as coordinating the activities of the bank’s Business Banking and Retail departments. 

Phillips retired in January 2017 as the Senior Director of Operations for the Cardiovascular Service Line at Bayhealth Medical Center after beginning her healthcare career as a tray girl in the dietary department of Kent General Hospital.

Her diverse experience includes Clinical, Human Resources and Operations Leadership in both nonprofit and for-profit environments.  Phillips is the incoming chair of the Fund for Women.

Beltz

StudioJAED adds technician

Kimberlyn Beltz has joined the StudioJAED Team as a CAD Technician. She is currently enrolled at Delaware Technical & Community College pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology. Her future plans include continuing her education by pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.

New Castle County has new emergency services chief

New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer announced that he has promoted County Paramedics veteran and acting chief Mark Logemann to the rank of Chief of Emergency Medical Services.

Logemann is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where he holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He is also a graduate of the West Point Command and Leadership program conducted through the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police.

Logemann officially replaces Chief Lawrence Tan, who stepped down in 2019 after serving the New Castle County Paramedics for 37 years, 19 as chief.

Murray

Sussex County Council names emergency chief

Sussex County Council appointed Robert W. Murray Jr., as the next director of Sussex County Emergency Medical Services, the county-run paramedic system that complements local fire/ambulance companies during acute emergency calls. Murray, currently serving as deputy director of administration, will take over for retiring director Robert A. Stuart at the end of July.

 Delaware Crime Stoppers names executive director

Delaware Crime Stoppers announced the appointment of Executive Director Robert Mooney and Chairman Michael Lawson to the Crime Stoppers USA (CSUSA) Board of Directors.  Crime Stoppers USA is the national Crime Stoppers organization that spans the United States to create a network of local programs that work together to prevent and solve crimes in communities and schools across the nation.

Mooney has been with Delaware Crime Stoppers since 2003 and will continue to serve in his current capacity as Executive Director.  Lawson has been on the board since 2012 and has been the Chairman since 2014.  Both Mooney and Lawson are retired law enforcement officers in Delaware with ties to local and national law enforcement affiliations.
