Hometown Heroes has returned to the airwaves, according to the show’s new social media home.
The long-running local music showcase was dropped about six months ago under the new Forever Media ownership of WSTW-FM, Wilmington. The show ran for more than two decades.
The debut comes at 7 p.m. Sunday at its new home at Delaware Public Media and at a new time at 7 p.m. Delaware Public Media is a National Public Radio affiliate based in Dover. Mark Rogers returns as host.
The first guests will be Darnell Miller, who just released a new single, and Gable Music Ventures, with a preview of the The Ladybug Music Festival – coming on Monday and Tuesday.
Fans of the show can listen on WDDE 91.1 in Dover; EDge Broadcasting 88.1FM WMHS; Super 91.7 WMPH; or via streaming at delawarepublic.org
