Gov. John Carney held  a Livestream press briefing on Delaware’s response to COVID-19.

The Tuesday briefings provide information of interest to the business community, which is eager to see signs of progress that might lead to a loosening of the governor’s stay at home order.

Carney has cautioned that Delaware has not yet hit its peak in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations. The Delaware Division of Health reported six new deaths from the virus.

On Monday, Carney joined governors from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island on developing a recovery strategy for the region.
