Retired astronaut named advisor for ILC Dover
ILC Dover announced that NASA astronaut and Founder of the Space for Art Foundation, Nicole Stott, has agreed to become a Senior Technical Advisor for the Space Systems Division.
Nicole’s experience includes two spaceflights and 104 days living and working in space on both the International Space Station (ISS) and Space Shuttle.
She performed one spacewalk (10th female to do so), was the first person to fly the robotic arm to capture the free-flying H-II Transfer Vehicle, and she was a member of the crew of the final flight of the Space Shuttle Discovery..
Following her second spaceflight, Nicole returned to Kennedy Space Center (where she’d worked for ten years as a NASA engineer and manager for the Space Shuttle Program before astronaut selection in 2000), for a one-year assignment as the Astronaut Office representative to the Commercial Crew Program and the team responsible for selecting contractors to build the next U.S. human-rated spacecraft.
In her most recent assignment at Johnson Space Center, Nicole served as Chief of the Vehicle Integration Test Office in the Astronaut Office/Flight Operations Directorate. She retired from NASA in 2015.
Nicole received degrees from both Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the University of Central Florida before joining NASA.
Whitehouse named Sussex P&Z director
The Sussex County Council named Jamie S. Whitehouse as Sussex County’s new Planning & Zoning director. Mr. Whitehouse takes the reins from former director Janelle M. Cornwell, who resigned in January to take a planning position with the City of Lewes after three years as county planning director.
Whitehouse will oversee a staff of nearly a dozen employees. A career planner the past 16 years, Whitehouse has worked in both the public and private sectors on two continents, holding professional accreditations with both the American Institute of Certified Planners and the Royal Town Planning Institute. He holds an undergraduate law degree from Coventry University in Coventry, England, and a master’s degree in spatial planning from Birmingham City University in Birmingham, UK.
Whitehouse joined Sussex County in 2017 as a staff planner and most recently served as planning and zoning manager. Before his tenure with the County, Whitehouse worked for the Delaware Department of Transportation as an engineering-planning-surveying technician.
Tsui joins Bayhealth practice
Bayhealth Primary Care, Smyrna announced Mable Tsui, DO has joined its practice.
The practice, which includes John Fink, MD, and Mannpreet Phambri-Komal, MD, is now accepting new patients.
Tsui holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. She completed her family medicine residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica, New York. She then had an additional year of training to complete a residency in neuromusculoskeletal medicine/osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMT) at Eastern Connecticut Health Network in Manchester.
Tsui is a specialist in OMT and accepts patients on a referral basis for osteopathic evaluation and treatment. This is in addition to serving as a primary care physician for patients of all ages.

Gia Livingston has joined as a sales associate for the Christiana office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach.
Livingston is also the co-owner of All in the Wrist Barber Academy in Smyrna. Livingston resides in Clayton with her husband, Fabian, and their son.
Also joining the Christiana office was Damaris Pacheco as a sales associate.
She is a member of New Castle County Board of Realtors. She resides in Smyrna with her husband Frederick, and their three children.
