TransPerfect, reached a multiyear agreement to become the title sponsor of the NCAA’s Music City Bowl college football game in Nashville, naming it the “TransPerfect Music City Bowl.”
This year’s game is held on Dec. 30. TransPerfect’s sponsorship will begin in 2020.
TransPerfect’s new title sponsorship coincides with the signing of a six-year agreement between the Music CityBowl and the SEC and Big Ten football conferences, which currently have 11 of the NCAA’s top 20 ranked teams.

The company became well known in Delaware in a dispute over its 50-50 ownership with CEO Phil Shawe prevailing in the case in Chancery Court. Shawe remains a critic of the state’s business judicial system and moved the company’s state of incorporation to Nevada.
