First Healthcare Compliance announced a new capability to help healthcare clients adhere to best practices and reduce risk.

The Wilmington company, founded by a nurse attorney looking to ease the compliance burden for her physician spouse, works with organizations throughout the United States.

First Healthcare Compliance will begin offering monthly exclusion screening for all state lists and GSA/SAM in 2020. GSA/SAM is a federal site that lists companies that are sanctioned or barred from doing business with federal agencies.

The development of compliance management software and online training is guided by government guidelines and client requests.

First Healthcare Compliance Product Manager, Regina Miller makes it a priority to converse with clients to learn how they need the system to expand. The approach is successful as new user-friendly features continue to be added to reduce risk and increase efficiencies, a release noted.

The system provides data insights across multiple locations.

Smaller independent organizations have a single source of education and management resources, the release concluded.
