Delaware could see light snow on Wednesday morning


blankAfter warmer-than-normal weather on Tuesday morning, a portion of northern Delaware could see light snow early Wednesday.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, NJ, reports that temperatures will cool with rain changing to snow from northwest to southeast.

The changeover may occur through the evening over the southern Poconos and northwest New Jersey and reach the I-95 corridor around dawn Wednesday with rain changing to snow.

Snow should continue for a few hours into Wednesday morning and may mix at times with rain before coming to an end by midday.

Northern Delaware could see less than an inch of snow.The snow could affect Wednesday morning’s commute with slippery roads and reduced visibilities.

While unsettled weather is expected, the Weather Service office said thetiming of the changeover from rain to snow and snow amounts remains uncertain.
