Police: Ex Five Guys employee tried to rob his former workplace

A former Five Guys employee is being sought after donning his old uniform in an apparent robbery attempt back in August.

Delaware State Police are working to find  28-year-old Kalief T. Heath of Wilmington. He is wanted in connection with the incident  that occurred at 8:16 a.m., Monday, August 12 at the Five Guys, 2217 Concord Pike, Wilmington.

Heath, a former Five Guys employee and who was wearing a Five Guys uniform, rang the doorbell at the back door of the business, prior to its opening.

A female employee who was already inside the business, answered the door. Heath pointed a handgun at her and ordered her out of the business. The female victim refused and Heath fled on a bicycle, southbound on Concord Pike without obtaining any property or money. The victim was not injured.
