A generator outside a home was listed as at the cause of a fire in Slaughter Beach that caused $800,000 in damage to a trio of homes.
The Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal investigated Wednesday afternoon’s fire in Slaughter Beachthat heavily damaged three homes. Slaughter Beach is nine miles east of Milford.
The blaze, reported shortly before 2:30 pm, occurred in the 200 block of Bay Avenue. Firefighters from the Memorial Volunteer Fire Company and several other companies responded to the report of a house on fire.
No injuries were reported.
