Drydene announces partnership with Dover International Speedway

Drydene Performance Products  announced a multi-year partnership with Dover International Speedway, serving as the entitlement sponsor for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) “Drydene 400” on October 6, as well as primary sponsorship for driver Corey LaJoie in the race.

Drydene is a lubricants company headquartered in Jonestown, PA.

This year’s “Drydene 400,” scheduled for Sunday, October 6 and set to air on NBCSN at 2:30 p.m. ET, is the first race of the Round of 12 in the MENCS postseason and the 100th NASCAR Cup Series race at the Dover track.

Dover will be  the 10th track to host 100 or more NASCAR Cup Series events. The October 4-6 NASCAR tripleheader weekend caps the Monster Mile’s 50th Anniversary celebration.

“We are excited to partner with another historic and performance-driven brand, Drydene Performance Products, for the Drydene 400,” said Tatoian. “We are looking forward to having Drydene as part of our Monster Mile family as we continue our track’s 50th-anniversary celebration.”

 Drydene also announced a partnership with MENCS driver Corey LaJoie for the 2019 and 2020 Drydene 400.

LaJoie is in his first full-time season in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, but his racing roots run deep. He follows his grandfather, Don LaJoie, a member of the New England Auto Racing Hall of Fame, and his father, Randy LaJoie, the 1996 and 1997 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion, into racing.

LaJoie has  wins in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, the ARCA Series, and several top 10s in NASCAR’s top series.

Drydene also announced a third feature  to the partnership offering fans the opportunity to enter a  sweepstakes. Fans will have the chance to win a 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350. If LaJoie wins any stage of the Drydene 400, one registered fan will receive the keys and ownership of the car, courtesy of Hertrich Ford of Milford.Fans can enter the sweepstakes at Drydene400.com until noon on October 6.
