The Better Business Bureau serving Delaware announced that they have successfully had two websites shut down that were illegally selling prescription and controlled substances from an address in Wilmington.

BBB confirmed that “Drug Mart Pharmacy” and “Bluerays Pharmacy” had not obtained a license from Delaware Division of Professional Regulation.

In addition, the FAQ section of the websites indicated “no prescription is needed” to purchase the medication. The websites further offered the sale of illegal drugs and controlled substances including Ecstasy, Cocaine and various animal venoms.

BBB investigation determined that the websites are registered in Littoral, Cameroon, Africa.

A Google search of the address (426 N. Tatnall St, Wilmington DE) shows there are multiple “online pharmacies” claiming to be at this location. The address is invalid and not a commercial or business location according to New Castle County Property Records.

“In a time when our country is in an opioid crisis, these types of websites appear to make it easy to purchase drugs online, and they need to be stopped. We are glad that we can play a part in tackling this epidemic,” says Christine Sauers, BBB Delaware president.

BBB worked with the Delaware Attorney General’s office during the investigation.
