On Thursday at 1 p.m., Delaware Botanic Gardens and the Bethany–Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce will conduct the gardens’ grand opening ribbon cutting.
The event is open to the public with the gardens open until 3 p.m.

The Delaware Botanic Gardens opened to the public beginning on Monday, Sept. 16.
Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 25, the gardens’ public open days will be Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon.
The Delaware Botanic Gardens will celebrate the coastal plain with a sustainable garden that delights and educates visitors and inspires them to preserve Delmarva’s native landscape, a release stated.
