Online lender SoFi will have  its name on the new Inglewood, CA  stadium that will become the home for the Los Angeles  Rams and Chargers.

So Fi will be the exclusive naming rights partner for the new SoFi Stadium. SoFi Stadium will also host Super Bowl LVI in 2022, the College Football National Championship game in 2023, and the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2028 Olympic Games.

SoFi will have a 27,000 square-foot VIP space inside the stadium, where SoFi members will have access to exclusive experiences (including a private lounge) and special events.

SoFi came to Delaware with the purchase of Zenbanx, a  financial technology start-up that allowed currencies to be moved around   via a smartphone app. The app was later dropped by SoFi, which offers online  student and personal loans.

SoFi also signed agreement that has Wilmington-based  WSFS handling payment processing and debit card sponsorships for a cash management account offered by SoFi.
