Device hooked to Internet led police  to burglary suspect

An electronic device gave away the location of a burglary suspect.

The Newark Post reported Newark Police were able to trace the  unidentified device, connected to the Internet to the Ogletown Stanton Road address of .  Trevor Livesay, 44. Livesay was taken into custody and items were recovered. The suspect was found hiding in the basement.

According to a Newark Police release, the items were taken in a burglary on Aug. 18 on the 100 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

Livesay was transported to Newark Police Headquarters where he was charged with Burglary Second Degree, Theft Under $1500 and Criminal Mischief.  He was taken to Howard R. Young Correctional Facility after not being able to come up with $11,500 cash bail.

Livesay appeared before Justice of the Peace Court #2 by video and was ordered held in default of $11,500 cash bail.  Livesay was turned over to the custody of the Howard R Young Correctional Facility in Wilmington.
