Many people faced a tough commute on Wednesday morning along Concord Pike in north Wilmington.
Southbound Concord Pike (Route 202) was closed between Silverside Road and Naamans Road due to repairs to utility poles. The busy north-south route opened later in the day.

At approximately 8:41 p.m., Tuesday, a tractor-trailer unit struck a utility pole on Concord Pike in the area of Garden of Eden Road The impact downed additional poles.
Utility crews worked throughout the night but faced the possibility of work continuing into the afternoon hours, due to the extent of the damage.
