A fire in a shipping/receiving area at a W.L. Gore site near Ekton caused $30,000 in damage early Tuesday night .
Firefighters from Singerly Fire Co. were called to the site at 402 Vieves Way, Elkton. .
The $30,000 loss was confined to the exterior of structure with no damage to contents. The fire was put out in 20 minutes.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s office is still investigating and did not list a cause.
