TKo Hospitality gets top award from hotelier Hyatt

TKo Hospitality, a Delaware-based hospitality management company, has been awarded Hyatt’s Operating Excellence award.

Hyatt formally awarded the Operating Excellence award to TKo Hospitality during the Hyatt Owners Conference at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, Bahamas.

The company received the award for its guest satisfaction, quality assurance scores and market penetration at its Hyatt Place Dewey Beach hotel in Dewey Beach  and the Hyatt Place Ocean City, Md., recently opened by TKo, is seeing similar results to Hyatt Place Dewey Beach.

This recognition is extended annually to companies that have outstanding operational performance. Hyatt Place Dewey Beach has also won recognition from Family Vacation Critic, which named it among the “30 Best Mid-Atlantic Family Hotels and Resorts” in 2017, as well as Coastal Style Magazine, which has named it Best Hotel in Sussex County each year from 2016-2018.

Hyatt Place Ocean City/Oceanfront the first Hyatt-branded hotel in Ocean City, Md. The new hotel features the Hyatt Place brand’s design, casual atmosphere and practical amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food offerings. The hotel is a joint venture owned by PRBR Hospitality Group LLC and operated by TKo Hospitality Management.

Hyatt Place Dewey Beach is a part of a larger redevelopment, Lighthouse Cove. The mixed-use redevelopment also includes The Residences at Lighthouse Cove – a collection of 83 beach inspired Bayfront condominiums complete with a rooftop pool, on-site garage parking, private balconies, and terraces overlooking both Rehoboth Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, as well as the Lighthouse Cove Event Center – a new wedding and special event facility that is scheduled to open later this year.

TKo Hospitality currently operates nine hotels and has five in development, including the Hyatt Place/Hyatt House in Allentown, Pa; Hyatt Place in Newark, DE.; Hyatt House in Lewes; Hyatt Place in Kent Narrows, MD. and a Fairfield Inn and Suites in Chadds Ford, PA.
