Chamber’s End of Session update to focus on pot legalization, expungement, workforce issues

The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce will host its annual End-of-Session Legislative Brunch on Thursday, June 6 in Dover. Click here to register.

Workforce development investments, marijuana legalization, changes in the construction industry, and how to handle the expungement of ex-offenders are just a few of the items on the agenda. Our discussion will be focused on issues that need to be addressed now. We will hear remarks from:

  • Marijuana Control Act: Tim Holly, Partner, Connolly Gallagher
  • Workforce Development: Gary Stockbridge, Chair, DE Workforce Development Board
  • Cyber Security: Solomon Adote, Chief Security Officer, Dept. of Technology & Information
  • State Chamber Policy Priorities: James DeChene, Sr. Vice President of Government Affairs, Delaware State Chamber of Commerce

As in years past, we will also hear from the Senate President Pro Tempore, David McBride, and Speaker of the House, Peter Schwartzkopf. They will discuss the current state of affairs in the 150th General Assembly as we near the end of the legislative session.
