The Turning Point, a regional breakfast-brunch chain, has opened in the Christiana Fashion Center south of Newark.
The Turning Point shares a building that also houses Honeygrow, a fast-growing chain of restaurants that specialize in stir fry and salads.
It is the first Delaware restaurant for The Turning Point, which has a dozen locations in New Jersey and five in Pennsylvania. Two additional locations in Doylestown and Media, PA are slated to open.
Turning Point’s headquarters is in Eatontown, NJ. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., seven days a week.
The Turning Point is part of wave of breakfast-lunch spots opening in the Christiana area, joining Florida-based First Watch.
Next up in the area is a franchise for Eggspectation, a Canadian chain that will offer a large menu and at many of its locations adult beverages that are a mainstay at brunches.
Breakfast-brunch spots offer higher end coffee and juices, as well as a menu of breakfast-brunch items that often focus on egg dishes. The Turning Point offers French Press coffee, along with egg dishes, pancakes and items for the health conscious.
The Christiana Fashion Center is a lifestyle center with restaurants, fitness and entertainment centers, and retail stores that include Nordstrom Rack, The Container Store, and Saks off Fifth.
