Hudson Fields site near Lewes to get Revelation beer garden

Revelation Craft Brewery, Rehoboth Beach,  announced a new beer garden in conjunction with Highway One’s Hudson Fields sports and entertainment area.

The beer garden, now known as Highway Rev,  will feature a  family and pet-friendly environment just north of Lewes with access to Route 1.

The new beer garden will be housed in the Eagles Crest airplane hangar and will feature 10 of Revelation’s beers on tap, a variety of different food trucks, seating and activities for both children and adults, and live music featuring local artists.

Revelation has been on a growth track. In December, the company announced it would purchase the former 16 Mile brewery site in Georgetown.

A portion of the proceeds from the beer garden will benefit  Camp Barnes, a  charity run by the State Police.

Revelation recently hosted  “Honor the Fallen” event this past March which benefitted Camp Barnes, featuring a new beer, the Irish Copper Ale.  

Revelation currently has 4 retired police offers on staff that wanted to help They reached out to Proximity Malts which donated their malts while the retired officers assisted brewers in making the ale. 

Revelation was able to donate $2,600 to Camp Barnes and are looking forward to future events.  

The beer garden will be open Friday through Sunday.  Tentative hours are Friday, 3 p.m. -10 p.m.; Saturday noon to 10 p.m.; and Sunday – 3 p.m.-9 p.m. Plans call for the beer garden to open in early June.
