3 nabbed by Middletown Police in connection with theft ring accused of taking $100,000 in Apple products at Amazon center

Middletown Police Department’s Criminal Investigative Unit arrested four employees Thursday in connection with a theft ring at the Amazon Fulfillment Center.

Middletown Police were contacted by Amazon Loss Prevention regarding thefts.

The investigation revealed that Tyaisha Butler, Taneesha Pinkett, Isaac Francis, and Shadaria Bell, worked together to remove over $100,000 in Apple Watches over the course of several months.

Police,using search warrants, recovered several thousand dollars worth of Apple Products.

The four Amazon employees were charged with Theft over $100,000.00 and Conspiracy 2nd. Pinkett, Butler, and Francis were arraigned and released on their own recognizance. Bell has an active warrant for her arrest.
