Nemours Foundation appoints Rogers to board

The Nemours Foundation announced the election of Geoffrey Rogers and Richard Walsh to The Nemours Foundation Board of Directors. Rogers is a Regional Managing Director for Glenmede Trust Company, Wilmington and Walsh is Chairman and CEO of the Knob Hill Companies, a media, investment and strategic consulting firm in Orlando, Florida.

President & CEO, Dion Williams, who has served as Del-One’s leader since 2011 has made the decision to return to his native North Carolina, where he will continue to serve in the Credit Union industry, a release stated.

The  Del-One Board of Directors announced the selection of Ron Baron, MBA as Interim President & CEO. Currently, he is the Chief Financial Officer for Del-One. In this interim position, Baron will be responsible for leading Del-One Federal Credit Union.

Coleman takes reins as Newark City Manager

The City of Newark announced Acting City Manager Thomas Coleman,  has officially been appointed to the role of City Manager. Coleman began his career with the City as the Assistant Director of the Water and Wastewater Department in 2011. In 2012, the Public Works and Water Resources Department was formed, and Coleman served as the Deputy Director for two years before being promoted to Director in March 2014, a role he served until he assumed the acting City Manager role in 2017. 

With the appointment of Coleman to City Manager, the roles of Director and Deputy Director of Public Works and Water Resources have been filled through promotion with Deputy Director of Public Works and Water Resources Tim Filasky and Planning and Design Engineer Ethan Robinson.

Delaware Employer Support for Guard appoints Broomall

Delaware Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense program, announced the selection of  Hugh T. Broomall  of Newark as the new ESGR Chair for Delaware.

The chair is an official DoD volunteer position. He will serve under with the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs.  The position carries a three-year term and is the equivalent ofa military two-star officer under DoD protocol.  Broomall will provide leadership and vision for a team of dedicated state volunteers spreadacross Delaware. 

Broomall retired from the Delaware Air National Guard as a major general after 45 years of service.  Broomall is also Director of Compliance, Ethics and Strategy for a local software integration firm.

Covenant Wealth Strategies announces CRPS designation for Vincent

Covenant Wealth Strategies announced that Chris Vincent  earned a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS) designation.

Vincent joined Covenant Wealth Strategies in December of 2010. He is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Malvern Bancorp named to board

Malvern Bancorp, Inc. announced that Jamie Barrett  has been appointed to the board of directors of the Company. Barrett is Managing Director of Acrewood Holdings LLC, an investment firm headquartered in Bryn Mawr, PA. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Barrett holds an A.B. degree from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Malvern Bancorp has an office in Delaware.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, Realtor Bear office, welcomed Manuel Ramos  as a sales associate. He is a member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors.

The  Newark office, welcomed Rahim Abdullah  as a sales associate. He is member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors. He serves New Castle.

The Greenville Home Marketing Center, welcomed Garth E. Warner Sr. as a sales associate. Formerly with Keller Williams, Warner is a graduate of Wilmington University. Warner serves New Castle, Kent, and Sussex Counties.
