Her Story Women’s History event slated for March 21

The Women’s Business Center (WBC) at First State Community Loan Fund (CLF) would like to introduce Her Story, Our History: A Women’s History Celebration.

The event will celebrate the achievements of Women in business and community change-makers making their mark in history. 

The WBC will be honoring 11 Delaware and Pennsylvania women who are accomplishing amazing things in their businesses and communities. 

The featured speaker will be Jumoke Dada, a technology leader.The  2019 Her story, Our History Honorees are:

  • Megan Burke
  • Sarah Reyes
  • Rhonda Allen
  • De’Shaun Chancy
  • Audrey Scott-Hynson
  • Raheemah Jabbar-Bey
  •  Geneva Fonda
  • Angela Grayson
  • Christian Willauer 

“We all have a story to tell, our stories inspire, uplift and aid in the support and growth of other women and that is why I believe it’s important to share our stories and  this is why Her Story, Our History was created,” said Sara Crawford-Jones, program director at the WBC at First State CLF.

Her Story, Our Story – Women’s History event is March 21st from 5:45 p.m.  to 8:00 p.m.. at the Christiana Hilton 100 Continental Drive, Newark.
