The store had its roots in the now-closed Atlantic Books location in Dover. A manager of the store launched Acorn after the closing of Dover bookseller
The announcement was made in a Facebook post. No closing date has been announced.
After operating in Dover, the independent bookseller moved its location to Smyrna.
