The annual “Nutritious Newark Cook-Off” was held last week in the Audion and Atrium at the Tower at STAR Campus of the University of Delaware.
More than 500 attendees voted on winners for Best Presentation, Most Creative and Tastiest Food in Newark. It was the fourth year for the event.

The Courtyard by Marriott University of Delaware team of Executive Chef Mark Chopko and Executive Sous Chef Jeff Brittingham created their winning entry, a “Thai Noodle and Veggie Salad with a Peanut Dressing.”
Director of Sales Melissa Driggs and Banquet Beverage Manager Joseph Foti assisted in presentation and service of the hotel’s entry.
