Northern Delaware gets up to 4.5 inches of snow from 2 storms

The Tuesday morning commute could be difficult as a mixture of snow and freezing rain hits portions of Delaware

A Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service remains in effect into Tuesday. Areas to the north are seeing a Winter Storm Warning.

Four to four and a half inches of snow fell in the Bear-Glasgow and Port Penn areas from the first storm, which continued into Tuesday.

The National Weather Service reported that snow or sleet overspread portions of Delaware on Monday and Tuesday 

The first storm on Monday led to a difficult commute and schools in northern New Castle County canceling classes. Classes and the opening of some government offices was delayed for two hours on Tuesday.
