“Avenue North creates an opportunity for Christiana Care to consolidate many of these offices together, reducing costs and increasing efficiency,” said Sharon Kurfuerst, chief operating officer. “As we continue to improve access to care for our community, consolidation of many of our non-clinical services at Avenue North will also free up space at Christiana Hospital and Wilmington Hospital to improve or expand patient care services at those locations.”

“We are honored that the state’s largest private employer has chosen to consolidate operations at Avenue North,” said Ernest Delle Donne, chairman of Delle Donne & Associates. “As leading companies like Christiana Care come together on this campus, the rapid success of the project’s office component will enhance synergies and interactions of the entire area. This will propel the live-work-play environment that we envision, which will be unsurpassed by any other development in the region.”

DelleDonne purchsed the former AstraZeneca Fairfax site from the pharmaceutical company. AstraZeneca retained offices at the site.
