Brady named chairman of Young Conaway
Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, Wilmington, announced that effective January 1 Vice Chairman Robert S. Brady assumed the role of Chairman.
Brady previously led the firm’s Bankruptcy group and has served on the Firm’s Management Committee since 2001.

Potter Anderson elects partners

Leavengood, partner in the firm’s Corporate Litigation Group, focuses his practice primarily on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery, including litigating stockholder class and derivative actions, as well as actions for appraisal, indemnification, and inspection of books and records. He also has experience in counseling boards of directors and special board committees of Delaware corporations with respect to issues of fiduciary duty and internal corporate governance. Leavengood earned his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law and his B.S. from Texas A&M University.
Maxwell, partner in the firm’s Business Group, advises clients on matters of Delaware corporate and business law He earned his J.D. from Tulane Law School and his B.A. from the University of Louisville.
McNeill, counsel in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group, focuses his practice on complex bankruptcy proceedings. He earned his J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law and his B.S. from Auburn University at Montgomery.
Silverstein, counsel in the firm’s IP Litigation Group, concentrates his practice on patent litigation, trademark litigation and intellectual property counseling. He earned his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and his B.S. from Ursinus College.
Connolly Gallagher names partner
Connolly Gallagher LLP, Wilmington, announced that Aaron M. Shapiro was elected partner effective January 1.
Shapirois a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment group. His practice focuses on labor relations, collective bargaining, administrative law matters, and government relations. Aaron is a 1995cum laudegraduate of Widener University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in both Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Ying named partner at Morris, Nichols
Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell, Wilmington, announced that intellectual property litigator Jennifer Yinghas been elected to the partnership, effective January 1.
Jennifer focuses her practice on patent, trademark, and trade secret disputes in federal and state court. Jennifer joined Morris Nichols in 2011.

Gambog named partner at Kimmel Carter
Kimmel Carter, Christiana, announced that Sean P. Gambogiwas promoted to Partner. He has been with the firm for 17 years when he worked in the file room as a file clerk and runner.
He graduated from the University of Delaware. He attended The Dickinson School of Law at Pennsylvania State University and served as a summer law clerk with the firm during this time. Upon admission to the Delaware Bar, he was hired as an Associate with the firm.
Marshall Dennehey names shareholder
