Dogfish announces return of Grateful Dead brew in 2019 calendar

Dogfish Head plans to bring back its Grateful Dead-inspired beer as well as a number of new offerings in 2018.

Dogifsh  which this year was ranked as the 12thlargest craft brewer, releases the calendar of all-year and seasonal offerings  this time of year. The list is long, but here are a few highlights:

Sticking around will be the flagship 60 Minute IPA and that Milton brewer’s fastest-growing brew, SeaQuench Ale, a sour.

More Dogfish offerings will come in cans and six packs next year, the brewery announced.

Returning is  Americna Beauty, a pale ale that is  brewed  in collaboration with the Grateful Dead,  American Beauty is made with granola and  wildflower. The brewery said customers have been asking for the brew, which was first brewed in 2013.

Returning this summer will be the Off-Center Your Summer Variety Pack, a 12-pack of various brews and an IPA variety pack for the holidays.

A new brand, SuperEight will make its debut in April. It is described as a gose brewed with ingredients: prickly pear, mango, boysenberry, blackberry, raspberry, elderberry, kiwi juices, toasted quinoa and   red Hawaiian sea salt.
