Ranking first in the report was Austin Texas, home of the University of Texas, a state capital and a technology hotspot.
Higher education is the subject of many ranking books and websites as parents and students study quality rankings and costs. The University of Delaware, which enjoys high rankings in many categories had the dubious distinction of being ranked the top party school.
