University of Delaware’s enrollment VP to step down

Chris Lucier, vice president of enrollment management at the University of Delaware, has announced his plans to step down, effective May 22. He will serve on a reduced basis beginning Feb. 1. [Not a valid template]

Decisions about interim leadership of enrollment management and the search for Lucier’s replacement will be made soon.

He earned his bachelor of science degree in renewable natural resources from the University of Arizona and his master’s degree in public administration from Western Kentucky University. He is also a graduate of the Army’s Command and General Staff College.

Cover & Rossiter announces promotions

Cover & Rossiter announced the promotions of Tammy Holcombe, Samantha Maiorano, Amy Swift, and Jackie Zhang to Senior Staff Accountant.

Holcombe joined Cover & Rossiter in December 2015 in the Audit department. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master’s degrees in Accounting from Wilmington University.

Maiorano joined the Audit department of Cover & Rossiter in July 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware.

Swift joined Cover & Rossiter in September 2016 in the Tax department. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from West Chester University, with Minors in Applied Ethics and Philosophy, after spending nearly seven years in the Legal Field.

Zhang began her career at Cover & Rossiter in October 2016 in the Tax department. She completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Delaware. She was awarded her CPA in September 2017. 

Wheeler Wolfenden and Dwares announces new staff

Wheeler Wolfenden and Dwarves, CPAs welcomed Melissa Navarro, CPA, Erica Poore, and Jessica Heger to its audit and tax practices.

Navarro, CPA has joined the firm as a manager. Navarro has 14 years of experience in public accounting. In addition, she held an executive-level finance role for eight years with a private company. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware.

Poore has been hired as a senior accountant. Poore has five years of public accounting experience. She earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Accounting from Wilmington University. 

Heger has joined the firm as a staff accountant. Heger has three years of experience in public accounting. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Goldey-Beacom College. Heger is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the same institution.

Info Solutions LLC adds Graham

Info Solutions LLC announced Tom Graham as the newest member of their business development team.
 
Graham brings more than 30 years of experience of providing IT support and account management for medium-to-large size companies throughout the Delaware Valley. Highlights of his career include over ten years each at Info Systems and at Cisco.
 
Graham holds a BS in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau adds marketing specialist

Jessica Colasanti is the new Social Media & Marketing Specialist at the Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau.  She graduated from West Virginia University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications and earned three minors in Business Administration, Event Planning, and Communications Studies.  

Delmarva Poultry Industry hires member relations manager

Delmarva Poultry Industry, Inc. (DPI) announced the hiring of its first member relations manager, Maureen Duffy. She will be responsible for recruitment, retainment and relationship building with all DPI members. Duffy started work at DPI on Nov. 1.

Before joining DPI, Duffy worked as the operations manager at Jaykal LED Solutions, Inc. in Harbeson,   where she had a variety of duties, including working with a wide range of vendors and clients. She has extensive experience in marketing and sales throughout her career and has worked in both the corporate and non-profit sectors.

She is a University of Maryland graduate with degrees in advertising, journalism, English and marketing.
