Neighbors for Crebilly announced Monday night that Pennsylvania Common Pleas Judge  Mark L.Tunnell denied Toll Bros.’ conditional use application for the historic property.

The home builder has pushed for residential development at the scenic site, which is believed to be part of the historic Revolutionary  War Battle of Brandywine. The farm is eight miles north of the Delaware line.

In a Facebook Post, the group stated that “the idea of colonizing Crebilly Farm is far from over and remains committed to the township, residents and neighboring communities to insure your Quality of Life.”

The home-builder has continued to push for development of the property while efforts continue to buy up land in the area in an effort to avoid future development.
