High Five Hospitality, based in Bear, plans to jump into the growing restaurant niche that focuses on breakfasts and brunches.
The franchisee for Buffalo Wild Wings for Delaware and portions of Maryland announced via Facebook its next addition will Eggspectation, a two-dozen unit Canadian chain, with locations in Maryland.
The site of the franchised restaurant was not announced.
The first Eggspectationrestaurant opened in downtown Montreal. It now has 11 restaurants in Canada, seven in the U.S., three in India, two in Qatar and two in Dubai, according to the company’s restaurant.

The restaurant offers a broad menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner items.
Delaware has seen an invasion of breakfast-focused restaurants that include Metro Dinner, soon to have three locations in New Castle County and First Watch, which will open a restaurant in the Christiana area.
High Five, which has expanded its dining offerings beyond BWW, with Stone Ballon Ale House on Main Street and most recently Limestone Barbecue and Bourbon.
Chef Robbie Jester, who came to High Five with the Stone Balloon acquisition, has been working on dining concepts for the company. That work included the rollout of the Texas-style barbecue restaurant at a former BWW off Limestone Road near Kirkwood Highway between Newark and Wilmington.
Jester is best known for beating celebrity chef Bobby Flay in a Food Network competition.
