Kathy McGuiness, a Democrat and Republican James Spadola don’t have auditing experience, but both claim they bring the right stuff to run elected office. McGuiness prevailed in a tough primary race, while Spadola was a last-minute candidate.
Both are vying to succeed longtime State Auditor Thomas Wagner who decided not run for another term. McGuiness was a pharmacist in Rehoboth. Spadola’s career includes military service and work in financial services.
