4 arrests made in connection with illegal gambling operation in Seaford area

The Delaware Department of Safety and Homeland Security Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) made several arrests in connection with an illegal gambling ring that was operating in the Seaford area. 

During August of 2018, DGE received information that persons were gambling though a scheme that involved placing lottery wagers. The two-month investigation by DGE officials, Delaware State Police and Homeland Security Investigations (HIS) confirmed that gambling was occurring in the form of an illegal lottery.

On October 10th, a search warrant executed was executed at the Seaford area residence and the suspects in charge of the operation were identified.  As a result of the search warrant betting slips and electronic devices were seized along with just over $10,000 in gambling proceeds.  All defendants were released on unsecured bond. 

Identified as defendants were:

  • Adarlyn Lopez-Taveras 23, of Seaford
  • Yuery Pimentel-Martinez 27, of Seaford
  • Fernando Ramos-Deschamps 34, of Seaford
  • Erickson Delgado-Casado 33, of Seaford
