Nearly 50 firefighters responded from Cecil and Harford counties as well Pennsylvania and controlled the blaze within two hours.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the garage, although crews reported extensive heat, soot and water damage at the adjacent office and apartments.
There were no reported injuries. A total of nine people are displaced and are being assisted by the American Red Cross as a result of the fire.
Early estimates to the loss of the structure and contents are valued at nearly $200,000.00
